Diorskin Nude Foundation, L'Oreal True Match Foundation, L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Hourglass Beige, Milani Infinite Liquid Eyeliner, Maybelline Great Lash in Clear, Cover Girl Lash Blast Waterproof, Garnier Tinted Eye Roller, Shiseido Eyelash Curler, Milani Liquif'eye Eyeliner Pencil in Black, Wet n Wild Brow & Eyeliner in Charcoal and Physicians Formula Eye Booster Liquid Eyeliner in Ultra Black.
This is what I use for my daily makeup routine. The foundations change up quite a bit but I've been trying to finish up my Diorskin Nude so I reach for it more often. I don't know if I got paler or the color changed on me, but it's too dark and orangey-pink on me. So I need to mix it with L'Oreal True match foundation to get it to match my complexion better. Urgh, Diorskin Nude's pump is getting harder and harder to get the product out of it. I use Garnier's eye roller as a concealer. It's not heavy or thick. I find concealers too cakey and just never bothered with them after a few uses.
I use Physician's Formula's eyeliner to line my eyes. Milani's liquid eyeliner is ridiculously waterproof but the brush gets too much product out and the product sticks to my eyelashes. So I only use it to wing out my eyeliner. Milani's Liquif'eye pencil eyeliner is so pigmented and creamy! It does an amazing job at lining my upper inner lash line. I just bought L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadow not long ago. Such a gorgeous color for the inner corners.

Collective Haul
Forever21 Nail Polish in Taupe, The Body Shop Loose Powder in 01, Revlon Lip Butter in Cupcake, The Body Shop Carrot Cream, Cover Girl Waterproof LashBlast in Very Black, Milani Liquif'eye Pencil Eyeliner in 01Black, The Body Shop Perfume Atomizer, Hard Cardy Mini Mouthing Off Lipglosses.
Since I haven't done one of these in a while, I decided to just grab everything that I've gotten recently and show a collective haul. I haven't really touched much of the items that I just got. These were all mostly just impulsive buys :P
Revlon Lip Butters are everywhere right now... I couldn't not join the hype. But after purchasing this I feel like I'm paying alot for the amount of product I'm getting. 2.55g for $8+tax? I'm a little iffy on repurchasing this. We'll just have to see of I absolutely adore this.
The Forever21 Nail polish has got to be my current favorite nail polish right now. I want to wear it everyday. Its a muted purple-grey with a tiny bit of unnoticeable shimmer. It's a great color for school or work. I'll have to show you how it looks on the nails (this photo doesn't do it justice at all.)
I'm trying out new mascaras, and Cover Girl was on sale at work! 50% off a two pack! People love this so I might as well try it... I wasn't too keen on getting on the bandwagon but I couldn't pass up on this deal. I love trying out new mascaras :) So far it hasn't been disappointing me.
I won't even try to take pictures of the clothing I've bought over the last month. I might start doing OOTD or use Polyvore. I just need to find the right place to take pictures!

Chinese New Years Eve
Happy Chinese New Year! 恭喜发财!Well technically it's tomorrow but I might not have time tomorrow :P I'll be busy sweet talking my way to red envelopes :)
I went to have dimsum with my family this afternoon and forgot to bring my camera :( So we're just left with crappy cellphone pictures, I didn't take pictures of everything, I couldn't deal with the horrible image quality.
We went to a new restaurant in Chinatown, Le Cristal Chinois (水天一色). It's located on the 6th floor of the Swatown building. The location and setting is very nice and modern. A very nice change to Ruby Rouge. And personally, well worth the pricier dimsum. The food was decent and the floral sweet dimsum is a New year's special. Although it was too sweet for my liking, it was a nice decorative piece before it was eaten. Business owners in chinatown are slowly renovating their places to appeal more to the general public. Smart move in my opinion.

American Apparel Free Shipping Code
I've made a few posts about American Apparel and you might think I'm this HUGE AA fan. But I'm really not. I only shop their sales and only have a few items from that store. (Because quite frankly the brand is kinda overpriced for me..)
And for those of you who don't subscribe to the AA mailing list, they are offering FREE SHIPPING to any orders (no minimum purchase) with the code ZEROSHIPPING until January 22nd!
I just placed an order on a small black Pique Cross Front Jumper. I've been eying this for the longest time now since I've seen an acquaintance wear it a few years ago. Yes... not months but years. I could never justify paying full price. But it's on sale now for $24 and with free shipping, so why not?!

Downtown Winter
This is my first downtown winter... the last week has been horribly cold, icy and incredibly windy yesterday. If only every day was -10 degrees C and had no wind, then I'd actually like winter :( Oh, Montreal weather...
But winter is beautiful :) and especially at McGill! School started last week and it's wonderful to be back in a routine. I've been enjoying all of my new classes and excited to go in everyday... minus the treacherous walk to campus from the metro or train station. Arts classes are so different from Science classes. I'm not quite used to it yet. There's an enormous amount of reading and prep. But a lot easier in other ways. I haven't fallen behind too far yet and hope it stays this way! Urgh, I need a netbook. For some reason my Communications professor thinks everyone has a laptop and talks super fast. I can't write as fast as I type! This is gonna be a problem.... Oh, and I promised myself that I'd be incredibly organized this semester. I made monthly calendars with due dates on them as wallpapers! This way, I'd be able to look ahead and not be forced to procrastinate!
