Haul + Physicians Formula Eye Booster Eyeliner Review

I've been meaning to write a post in a while but I wasn't compelled to do anything other than sleep. But here I am, finally fully rested with a little haul and review!

Left to Right: Physicians Formula Eye Booster Eyeliner in Ultra Black, Batiste Coloured Black Dry Shampoo, Revlon Colorstay Lipstick in Soft Nude, Philosophy Vanilla Birthday Cake (Sephora Beauty Insider Birthday Gift) and Herbal Essences Tousle me softly spray gel.

I went into Winners hoping to get some exercise equipment but saw this instead. Batiste's Coloured Black Dry Shampoo! I've been trying to get a dry shampoo for a while and read reviews describing a not so pleasant scent in the Tresemme's Dry Shampoo so I didn't buy that. The packaging is quite unique and would really stand out on store shelves. Whenever I feel like my bangs are greasy, I spray this one and it instantly looks better!
This has become a necessity in my life ever since I picked this up!

I also picked up Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Spray Gel for 50% off at my grocery store. I've been trying to get messy hair for a while now but my hair is stubborn and wants to stay a in between straight and horrendous kinks. So I'm hoping this will help me achieve a messy look.

I've been contemplating in buying a liquid eyeliner over the past few weeks and considering the drugstore and department store options out there for me. I decided on this one because it came with a FULL price mail in rebate, so I literally get this for free and if it doesn't work out, I wouldn't regret it one bit. And I have to say, this eyeliner has holy grail potential!

Physicians Formula's Eye Booster Eyeliner boasts of 24 hour wear, water and smudge resistant. Supposedly it has lash serum incorporated into the formula that will enhance lash growth when applied to the roots of the lashes. The packaging is quite nice, the sleek metal tube doesn't look or feel cheap. This retails for around $15 CAD and is well worth the price for an eyeliner and lash growth stimulator (which is a plus if it does work!)

The fine brush tip is amazing, unlike the hard tip in Revlon's Colorstay liquid pen eyeliner. This brush tip is flexible and allows for precise application and dispenses a good amount of product with each swipe. I've had no difficulties with the amount of product coming out. I used to like felt tip brushes from L'oreal's liquid eyeliner but the formula wasn't waterproof so I didn't repurchase it. Revlon's liquid eyeliner pen formulation was horrid and the brush was so hard I could've poked my eyes out.

It promised water and smudge resistance but I was a bit skeptical because water resistant doesn't technically translate into waterproof. This eyeliner is amazing! I was blown away at how waterproof and smudge proof this was! It doesn't budge one bit, looks just as fresh as when you first applied it... unless you rub it really hard underwater with soap. Color intensity is really good, I wasn't expecting this much out of this product. Revlon Colorstay was a complete disappointment against my teary eyes; it wasn't waterproof at all and stung when it got into my eyes. This is a definite favorite of mine! I don't think I'll be venturing out to find a better low or high end liquid eyeliner other than this!
